Stomp's right front leg was crooked & shortened. He walked on top of his foot.

You can see here his foot is contracted.

He got snuggled alot!

With more activity, the hair quickly wore off his foot, it cracked & bled at times.

T babysits the pup before surgery.

Surgery done, little man is waking up.

Napping in recovery.

Bundled up & strapped in for the ride home.

Home...Stomp wants to know what hit him...

Snuggling with mom.

Looking a bit brighter.

Time for bed, Stomp, rest easy.

What a difference a day makes! Stomp is up & playing the very next morning.

Time for a nap with T.

T sleeps more than Stomp!

Today Cha Cha lent me one of her pink coats. Blechhh. But I am feeling great!

Mom says I gotta go outside.

Not quite ready for the steps.

Feeling good, eating well, healing beautifully. Stomp's future is as bright as the sun.

STOMP PLAYS IN THE BIG YARD!

AND PLAYS WITH HIS BIG FRIENDS. HE GAINED 4 LBS SINCE HIS SURGERY.

AND FINDS A LITTLE TWIG TO CARRY

HE CAN CLIMB THE STAIRS NOW, NO PROBLEM FOR STOMP! HE'S A GREAT PUP, THE BEST!

STOMP MODELS HIS OWN LONDON FOG RAINCOAT!

ALMOST A MONTH POST SURGERY, STOMP HAS GROWN SO MUCH WE WON'T BE HAVING THIS KIND OF SNUGGLE TIME MUCH LONGER.

A PUP FROM OUR LAST LITTER WAS BORN WITH A DEFORMED RIGHT FRONT LEG. AFTER CAREFUL CONSIDERATION, THE DECISION WAS MADE TO AMPUTATE ONCE HIS LITTERMATES HAD GONE TO THEIR HOMES. WE CALLED HIM "STUMPY" BUT NOW HIS NAME IS "STOMP"
NO MORE STUMP FOR STOMP....

HERE'S A LOOK AT HOW HE'S DOING.
